Anna Schote
1st Chairwoman
Anna Schote grew up in a family of musicians in Hanover. At a young age she was accepted into the Mädchenchor Hannover, where she received singing lessons from Prof. Gudrun Schröfel and Ania Vegry and was used as a soloist in numerous girls' choir concerts.
Since the winter semester 2021/22 she has been studying singing with Prof. Mareike Morr at the Freiburg University of Music.
In addition to singing as a soloist, which has led her to work with the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester under the direction of Robin Ticciati in the Berlin Philharmonie, the young soprano is very happy to devote herself to ensemble singing. In addition to regularly singing in well-known choirs such as the Kammerchor Stuttgart under the direction of Frieder Bernius, she won first prize in the vocal ensemble category at the Deutscher Chorwettbewerb 2023 with her “Terzett HFH” and is a scholarship holder of the Yehudi-Menuhin-Stiftung “Live Music Now” in Freiburg im Breisgau.
